The Complete World Letters of Yssaia

After the loss of her land and lover in the war, the Burned Maiden of Thuille awakens its fabled Once-and-Future Emperor from a 400-year slumber. His sword sings of promised victory and so she takes up her blade once more in his name. But Arlasaire fears the reality of modernity is harsher than legend -- and the immensity of her own grief. 

Inspired by the many Kings Under the Mountain and other heroes who promised to return (such as King Arthur, Fionn Mac Cumhaill, Vainamoinen, etc.) and following the perspective of an adopted Assassin lady in a non-Tolkienesque fantasy world, The Complete World letters of Yssaia is a new-adult political drama released serially on my website and compiled later into PDF documents here.
